What makes Courtney different is that she teaches veterinary technicians and nurses at a distance (online). Purdue is one of ten programs that offer a distance learning program like this. During a time in which virtual learning is the 'new norm' for many, this may soon become a much more popular option in the vet community.'
As a friend of Vet Shows US and frequent speaker, Courtney took time out of her busy day' (working in the small animal ER/ICU at the teaching hospital and in the nursing program as an instructional technologist) to speak with us about how she got into this program, what a day in her life looks like, and advice to anyone interested in following the same path.
