Module 1: Overview of the NVAP This module provides veterinarians a review of multiple basic aspects of the National Veterinary Accreditation Program (NVAP). A brief history of the veterinary accreditation program, the importance and benefits of being an accredited veterinarian, the duties and responsibilities of accredited veterinarians, and information on the Category I or II level accreditation and program certification opportunities are described
