Free-dom of Choice: How In-clinic Free-T4 and TSH Can Grow your Practice and Improve Patient Care

Canine hypothyroidism and feline hyperthyroidism are two of the most common endocrinological conditions diagnosed in small animal veterinary practice. Recent advances in in-clinic diagnostic testing allow veterinarians to conduct free T4 and TSH assays quickly, affordably, and accurately. By providing easy access to more extensive thyroid function analysis, veterinarians can precisely identify thyroid dysfunction and begin treatment, often during an office visit. This program will discuss selecting patients that would benefit from thyroid function testing, developing an in-clinic diagnostic workflow to enhance efficiency, and how expanding thyroid testing beyond “total T4” will benefit your patient care.
