Jay Tischendorf

Jay Tischendorf has special interests in infectious and zoonotic disease. A DVM and wildlife biologist, Dr. Jay he has worked coast to coast across North America and into Central America as well. He has served both in private and locums practice as well as in the pharmaceutical industry. Jay's most gratifying moments as a vet came providing volunteer spay and neuter services on Native American nations in Montana, and while helping with post-Hurricane Harvey disaster relief in Texas. He lives with his family and their pets in Manhattan, KS. In his free time Jay conducts wildlife studies and conducts training programs on tracking, bushcraft, and survival. He is a CSU graduate and speaks frequently at veterinary, ecological, and One Health conferences.
