Diseased carnassial and canine teeth in dogs are challenging extractions. Generally, surgical methods are used to extract these teeth including mucoperiosteal flap elevation, buccal alveolar bone removal, crown sectioning, crown-root elevation, osteoplasty, bone augmentation, and wound closure.
