The Magic of Management: Setting up our Patients and Clients for Success

23 Jun 2021
Vet Tech Theater

Join the self-proclaimed “Queen of Management” for a lecture designed to set the general practice up for success. How many times have you referred behavior patients to the veterinary behaviorist but wish there were something you could help the client with now? This lecture will discuss the importance of safety, prevention, and management in the behavior treatment plan. This lecture will also review how veterinary clinics can utilize technicians in this role by understanding nutraceuticals that can be dispensed and reviewing tools that the client can start training (even before the consultation with the behaviorist) such as changing equipment and muzzle and or head collar training.

Rachel Lees, Registered Veterinary Behavior Technician - The University of Tennessee
