06 Oct 2021
Clinical Theater 2

Available for RACE approved CE credit if watched from 11:30AM-12:20PM PST on Wednesday, October 6, 2021.

Surgery of exotic animals is different than surgery of dogs and cats for many reasons. Exotic animals are often smaller, they tolerate minimal amount of blood loss and require special care. In order to perform surgeries successfully in exotic animals there is the need of specific instrumentation, specific skills and knowledge of the anatomy and the conditions. This lecture will provide a solid introduction to the practitioner that would like to start performing surgeries in exotic animals.
