More Than Just A Flat Face: Brachycephaly's Effect On All Body Systems

06 Oct 2021
Clinical Theater 1
Anesthesiology

Available for RACE approved CE credit if watched from 1:20PM-2:10PM PST on Wednesday, October 6, 2021.

Brachycephalics are obviously prone to upper airway dysfunction but this isn’t all. The gastrointestinal, ocular and musculoskeletal systems can also be affected and changes in all of these systems can impact anesthesia. In this session we will discuss the brachycephaly effect on a variety of systems and develop anesthetic protocols to alleviate the impact of those effects.
