Proactive Joint Health For Today's Small Animal Patients

This lecture will cover assessment of canine and feline patients in regards to pain due to osteoarthritis, a brief overview of evidence based treatments and proactive measures in reducing the progression of osteoarthritis. We will discuss evaluation of atypical sites of osteoarthritis that we may not commonly look for in our patients. Also, ideas of pain scoring and specific client questions will be discussed. These items are presented in a manner for practitioners to take client education tools back to their veterinary staff.
